FASTRACK CAD MAKES JELD-WEN PRODUCTS MORE ACCESSIBLE TO SPECIFIERS
One of the UK’s leading timber joinery manufacturers JELD-WEN has updated its technical specifications for its doors, windows and stairs and added all its latest new designs, which are now available through the FastrackCAD website.
To make it as easy as possible for architects and designers to select products that meet performance requirements, JELD-WEN’s products are now available as AutoCAD
Diagrams, which are available to download from the website at www.fastrackcad.com.
There are 2,000 product specifications available through the FastrackCAD website. And, for the first time, this includes JELD-WEN’s new Farndale external doorset and Fenton inline sliding patio door. The Fenton and Farndale doorsets are fully compliant with Part L Building Regulations and each offer a range of style choices, robust security features, and the option of upgraded thermal performance, including triple glazing to meet project requirements. The updated FastrackCAD also contains specifications for the full range of patio doors, including folding sliding and French doors.
For specifiers looking to achieve the higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes, the FastrackCAD website contains JELD-WEN’s DreamVu™ family of windows and doors. This range has windows that can be specified to achieve U values as low as 0.7W/m2K and is available with the option of JELD-WEN’s 60 year Lifespan™ guarantee.
FastrackCAD also contains technical specifications for JELD-WEN’s complete range of external timber and composite doorsets and its most popular stair layouts. All JELD-WEN stairs are certified to provide additional quality reassurance under the recently launched British Woodworking Federation’s (BWF) Stair Scheme.
Specifiers can easily access products that meet with the latest Building Regulations performance requirements for thermal efficiency, fire, mobility and security.
Georgina Campbell, Marketing Manager at JELD-WEN, says: “FastrackCAD is a fantastic resource for architects and building designers and we see it as an essential tool for helping specifiers to accurately source windows, doors and stairs that meet with the latest legislation and performance requirements. We have added a number of new products and updated technical specifications to this latest version, to give architects access at their fingertips to our complete product portfolio.”
Terry Holding, Managing Director of Techgraf, the company which produces FastrackCAD, comments: “The website has more than 45,000 registered users, most of whom are architects and building designers, with around 9,000 drawings downloaded each week. Of these downloads, a very high percentage are for JELD-WEN’s products, which our statistics show are in great demand from the construction industry.”
