NEW CONTEMPORARY STYLE FOR COMPOSITE DOORS RANGE
One of the UK’s leading door manufacturers, JELD-WEN, has extended its composite doors range with the introduction of the Leeds doorset.
This innovative doorset features an attractive contemporary style, with four centrally-located glazed rectangles that reflect the modern minimalist trend.
The Leeds, which is available in black or white, is manufactured from GRP (glass reinforced plastic) which is an extremely robust material that offers six times the thermal performance of other entrance door materials. This doorset can achieve a U value down to 1.3 W/m2K.

This doorset meets the style aspirations of modern homebuyers, whilst offering all the thermal performance requirements of housebuilders building to the higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes.”
There are ten doorset styles in total within the Castle range, all of which feature scratch-resistant pre-pigmented skins and are through-coloured to enhance their appearance and ensure longevity. The range is finished with an attractive woodgrain effect to recreate the look of real timber.
Security is also assured as each doorset comes with a multipoint locking mechanism and is tested to Secured by Design standards, the preferred specification of the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO).
All doors are 44mm thick and come with laminated toughened glass for enhanced security requirements, plus a number of obscure or decorative glazing options The Leeds doorset, like the rest of the range, has the option of satin gold-effect or silver-effect accessories including handle, chain, viewer and letterplate.
